Program Description

We designed our new Shop and Roll membership program as part of our ongoing mission to give back to the local community and to the environment. The Shop and Roll program provides members with practical three-wheel bikes and cargo trailers to use while shopping their neighborhood stores. Members save on the cost of gasoline, they reduce their carbon footprint, and they eliminate the need to spend precious time hunting around for already scarce parking. The program also provides kids bikes for small children, allowing them to participate in cycling as a family event, honing their riding skills, and developing habits that will help preserve their environment for decades to come. The Shop and Roll program is currently available at our 899 Columbus Avenue location (at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Lombard Street). Shop and Roll members can use the program's bikes for up to 1.5 hours each day and membership is as low as $7.50 per month based on an annual membership.

Membership Fees

FREE MONTH TRIAL FOR SAN FRANCISCANS! Beyond the trial month, membership pricing options are as follows:

• Month to month: $25 for an individual membership or $30 for a family membership
• 3 month minimum paid in advance: $45 for an individual membership or $50 for a family membership
• 6 month minimum paid in advance: $60 for an individual membership or $75 for a family membership
• 1 year minimum paid in advance: $90 for an individual membership or $100 for a family membership

Equipment

Adult shopping trikes with cargo baskets, bike trailers and small kids bikes Use of all bikes includes free helmet and lock. Adult shopping trikes are equipped with headlights, rear lights, and bells.

Eligibility

Bike and Roll's Membership Programs are available to anyone with a verified San Francisco address. A credit card deposit/authorization is required at the time of account initiation. Membership fees are paid in advance as noted in "Fees" above.
